Mind maps:
WEEK 1

Assets:
In this mind map I decided to jot down some ideas that came in to my head, so I could have a list of different assets. This has helped me narrow down some ideas that could be a good concept to work with.
My top 3 assets:
Arcade machine
Headphones
Lava lamp

Why these are my top 3:
I love arcade machines I have spent a lot of time playing them growing up and the designs that some people make are just breath taking. I also have a passion buying different headphones based off of style. I like how intricate headphones can be even though the all do the same things. An idea I would not normally consider but because of the different range of designs you can make from it I also chose lava lamp. They are really pretty and could be a great asset to a scene.
Environments:
In this mind map I look into various environments, if I decide to create an environment or place my asset into an environment I have plenty of ideas to explore.

My top 3 environments:
Arcade
Basement
Diner

Why these are my top 3:
I really enjoy to the aesthetics and the positive vibe that arcades give off. Something about arcades makes you want to stay even if you did not intend to. Overall it is just a really fun place and some designs are just amazing. I chose basement as my second favourite environment simply because you can do so many things with such a simple concept. It can be a study room,an ancient relic room or something simple like an old storage room that tells a story. Last but not least is the diner, diners have been something I have always found aesthetically pleasing especially american diners. The layout and the retro style is just amazing.

Themes:

My top 3 themes:
Japanese
Fantasy
Techno

Why these are my top 3:
Japanese culture has been something I have always been interested in since I could remember. Something about the way their art styles are just blow my mind so I want to create something in the future that uses some of their culture in my artwork.

The reason why I chose fantasy as a theme was because I like how broad the fantasy genre can be. I like surreal things because most of the time we find ourselves mixing reality with a dream and that's how new things are created.

Last but not least I like the techno theme because electronics are also aesthetically pleasing with their neon colours and circuit boards I think I could make a nice environment based off of this theme.

Art styles:

After jotting down various art styles that I was familiar with and discovering some online. I decided to list some of the art styles and I also learnt the definition to go a long side them.

My top 3 art styles:
Abstract
Surreal
Comic book
Why these are my top 3:
The reason why abstract and a surreal art style is my top two is because I like how they can be absolutely anything, They don't fit in any other theme but can take certain elements from other themes to add to it's own. I enjoy creating things that some people may have never considering making and making my project something that stands out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 2
Pinterest Mood Boards of some of my favourite ideas:

Character mood board:

Environment mood board:

 Pixel art mood board:

Assets mood board:
In the mood boards above I explore the various different themes that interest me. I selected all of these pictures myself to compile a grand selection of things I find intriguing and keep me interested as a viewer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 2
Companies I like:

Nintendo:

Sega:
I created these two mood boards because I really like the aesthetics of the artists work. Not all of these pieces are official art work some are created by the fans. What I like the most about it would have to be the twist on the original artwork. I like seeing things re imagined in a new way and that is one thing I like to do, I like to take an original concept and present it in my own way.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 2
Pinterest moodboards on concept ideas:

Arcade machine:

Futuristic living room:

Controllers:

Manga/ Comic book styled characters:

Fantasy environment:

Here are my favourite ideas of the bunch, I really enjoy the Manga style and would like to create my own character one day but I chose to stray away from this idea because creating characters is a big weakness of mine but I want to work on it in the future. I also enjoy the aesthetics of a fantasy environment which I want to at some point but for me I feel like I would be setting a goal which I wouldn't be able to achieve well. That just leaves me with the arcade mine idea, I have enough confidence in my modelling skills to say that I can hit my goal.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 2
Artist moodboards based on two of my favourite ideas:

Here are three artists that I found on artstation when looking for inspiration for this project I chose two character artists and one environmentalist because characters interest me a lot because of the different ways people can draw a well known character. I also like the emotion that is portrayed through a character a lot more than breath taking scene.

Section 1:  Rationale (approx. 100 words)
What inspired me to do the project was when I was playing games
in the arcade and I remembered how fun it was to play in an
arcade.
Last year I created a 2d piece and a 3d asset based on the Sega
master system.
Since I have joined this course I have learnt the design process of
games.
One skill I have obtained selecting an idea and sticking with it. In
this project I am hoping to create a 2d piece and a 3d environment
based on an arcade.
This year I am going to focus on 3d modelling because it’s my
weaker skill.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
This year I am planning on making a 3d environment based around
arcades. I have never made an environment before so this will
definitely be a challenge. As a stretch if I have time I would like to
create a 2D piece to go alongside my 3D piece.
The backstory is that there is a grown man who inherits all of
these old arcade machines that he used to play in his grandads
basement when he was young. Now that his grandad has passed
away he decides to sharethe joy of playing arcade games to the
younger generation.

The style of which the game genre would be a retro so old designs that may not be around today. The arcade cabinets are all old but have been brought back to life with new technology so they can be played for many years to come. When the user is actually playing the game it will transition from the 3d environment into the actual game.

What techniques/technical skills do you plan to use?
For this project I would like to develop my Photoshop skill more I want to be able to add lighting, shading and tone in my work. For Maya I would like to make something more aesthetic on the eye with some nice texture and a well laid out scene.

Section 3: Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
When reviewing an analyzing my work, I tend to work until I am happy with it. If I am not happy with it that means I need to put more work in.

To record my decision process I will post all of my process on the blog with documentation about why I decided to go down a certain path when making decisions.

How will you record your problem solving?
Pretty similar to my decision process I will record all of my problems and the ways I attempt or solve then on my blog with annotation on the topic.

I will organize my time by planning all of my weeks and trying my best to stick to them.

WEEK 3
Primary resources:

Pictures of arcade machines:

In the pictures above I have taken some pictures of arcade machines from the EGX games convention. At the time of taking these I knew I wanted to make an arcade machine at some point but I was not sure I wanted to make it into a personal project or a college project.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 3
Software I am going to be using:

For this project I am going to using photoshop for:
Mindmaps/moodboards
Artist research
My drawings
Recording my screenshots
Adding textures to my uv's

For this project I am going to using Maya for:
Practise modelling
Modelling
Creating uv's
Applying uv's to my models
Rendering my models

For this project I am going to using Microsoft Power Point for:
Presenting/talking about certain sections of my project.

For this project I am going to using Microsoft Word for:
Filling in my project proposal/action plan
Documenting my bibliography
Evaluating my blog with-Ext Dip Grading with Exemplarfication Matrix
Creating a list of areas I need to complete
Evaluation

All of the software used has benefited me through out the project from the start. Even though I do not plan much because of my different way working, I still like to present my work the best way I can. With all of this software I feel like I have presented it well in the time frame.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 3
Ext Dip Grading with Exemplarfication Matrix:

After looking at my blog and re evaluating all of my work, I thought that my work was good but there was quite a bit of sections that brought me down lower than my target grade. To fix this I am going to go through my how blog again from start to finish and try to work on my weaker areas.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 3/4
Sketches of things you may find in an arcade:
This was a collage I created of things found in an arcade. On the left side I have a screen because that's what makes the game playable. I also wanted to see if I could create a fuzzy text on texture on it to and create a older style of screen. Underneath the screen design I created an arcade button set up just to get an idea of what they layout of one arcade machine could be. After that I created more buttons but from a different perspective just to see if I could replicate the same thing but in 3D. I also  created tokens because every arcade machine takes some for of payment but certain public arcades use their own coins.

Next I created a welcome sign because I arcades tend to have neon light that welcome you onto the premises. I also thought it would be nice to animate it using the motion feature to really bring it to life.
WEEK 4
Initial sketches:
Here are two sketches I have created using Photoshop software. The top sketch was the first design that I created. Instead of drawing it head on I decided to draw from a different perspective so I had pieces that did not look identical.

My favourite design would have to be the red vs blue arcade machine simply because of how I came up with the concept. I started creating a regular arcade machine but from a different angle instead of drawing it head on. After looking at the perspective and still not being able to understand I decided to duplicate the half that I had and fused them together to make one cool v shaped arcade machine.

If I could improve it I would have done more unique designs and colour palets because I really enjoyed creating the second design simply because it was something that was unqiue and worked as an arcade machine.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 4
Inspiration:
The movie wreck it ralph was a good inspiration for me. The huge collection of arcade machines with different colours and styles really made me want to make something unique and interesting.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 4
Colour pallets:
For each individual asset I feel like they all turned out well. To improve these designs I feel like if I used a lot less red I could create some stunning designs. If I could do it again I would definitely explore more colour options.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 4
Model practise run:

Before I started modelling I began looking into the how arcade machines were made. After searching online for reference images I stumbled across this orthographic picture of an arcade machine. This would help me get a better understanding of it's dimensions.
In the picture above I done a basic block out to see how the model would look if I used the dimensions of reference image.

For a tester day it went quite well I did not find the basic shape difficult because I found a really good reference image of an arcade machine online.

Reference image:
This reference image helped me get a good understanding of the an arcade machine is layed out on the inside and outside. You can look at pictures but until you see a a break down of it you realise how much really goes into modelling and designing as a whole. This picture helped me understand what an arcade machines form

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 4/WEEK 5
Making the joysticks for the machine:
First thing I done was spawn in a sphere and edited the sub divisions so it would be quite low poly. This would also help me extrude the pipe at the bottom later on.
Next I deleted the bottom faces and re bridged it back together so I had a flat base. This then enabled me to extrude the pipe of the joystick.
Here is the end result, overall I was quite happy with the outcome I have never modelled an arcade stick before and I thought the pipe itself would be quite hard to make if the ball was smooth so I cut down on the subdivisions so I would be able to extrude from the bottom.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 5
Creating the buttons for the arcade machine:

In the picture above I have created various button shapes to try and replicate the arcade button style. From 1-7 I made buttons but neither were successful because all of the proportions were in correct. To fix the problem I took some reference images from google which linked back to a graphic designers blog.( Link is in bibliography)

To create the button I began with a simple cylinder and edited the model by highlighting it and pressing t to open up the manipulator menu. Once this was open increased the subdivision axis to twenty four instead of twenty I also increased the subdivision caps to three instead of one.
This would help me later on because I had to create the bevelled rim around the button because that' s what holds the button in place. On the top left of my model set up there is a reference image I used O i could line up all my subdivisions this reference has also been linked to the original page in my bibliography.
After adding the subdivision and what not I began to extrude the middle face up to create the section that the finger presses. I also created a little dip around the button it self because there is a gap between the button and the rim. After creating the dip I lowered the middle of the button so it dips into the centre because the top of the button is never one hundred percent flat.

Once i finished that I rounded the button with the smooth quality display button. To use this tool you can select the object of your choice and press 3 to apply. The last thing I did was selecting the rim around the button it is too long so to shorten it I selected the vertexes with the vertex select tool and moved them up with the move tool.

Here is the final button. After creating so many buttons at getting it wrong so many times I think it paid off well it looks like a button, its not complicated with too many edges and it fits my arcade machine nicely.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 5/6

Silhouettes:

In the picture above I have created various arcade cabinet silhouettes, majority of them are side profile. I thought it would be nice to experiment with the side profile because a lot of arcade machines were differentiated by their shapes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 6

Orthographic drawings:
To create the orthographic drawings I got screenshots of my current model from each perspective and drew over them. I never had access to an arcade machine from all perspectives in real life so I had to go with the most accurate design I had.

This set of drawing helped out quite a bit because I was the model from different perspectives and it helped me get to know my models shape a lot more. I find when I am modelling I depend on the tools that Maya gives me but with this I had to go off of my own judgement.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WEEK 6
Arcade Renders(ambient occlusion):
After finishing the model practise run I decided to work into the model I create because the base of the arcade machine was there I just need to add more extrusions to the screen area and the game title area.
Overall I am happy with the out come of the arcade machine. I feel like my modelling skills have become a lot more neater this year, last year I always found myself going back to modelling when trying to texture because I made a few mistakes like overlapping faces or vertices in places where I did not need them. .

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK6/7
Uving:
Here is my uv map of my arcade machine I created this by planar mapping all of the face on the model. On the top left I have the main sides of where the art is going to be displayed. The bottom left shell is the back of the model I have it uv'd just in case I decide to add any extra's in like plug sockets.

Overall I am happy with the outcome I tend to be very slow at the uv'ing process so I thought it would be great if I started that sooner so I could get the on to the texturing as soon as I can.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 7
Texturing:
Here is the first test I done on the model by adding some already established images to my uv's I used these characters as a test to see how they would take to the model and so far it looks good the characters are facing the way I wanted them too. I do not claim the characters to be my own all rights go to the respectful owners.

WEEK 7

Here is another screenshot from another perspective.

Here is my own texture I had created. I made it int photoshop by using the gradient tool and using red and blue as the main colours.
WEEK 7
Applying my own textures:
Here is my own texture I had created. I made it in photoshop by using the gradient tool and using red and blue as the main colours.

WEEK 7
Testing all of my models uv's:
In the picture above i created a block and filled it with a gradient effect just so the tone would be slightly different all around the model.

After creating the tester textures,I decided to add some colour to my model to see if there was any flaws with my uv's. Overall there was no errors you could see besides the untextured areas on the side panels of the arcade machine.

WEEK 7
What it looks like applied:
Once I applied it all I realised there was a texture error on the sides. The reason for this is because I never uv'd them in the first place the faces are very small and I ended up overlooking them when uv'ing.

How I fixed it. the texture error:
To fix this I re done the sides with the tiny face on the top selected to make sure it would be uv'd next time around.
WEEK 8
What the uv's look like now:
Here is the most recent uv with the side panels edited. The adjustments are very minor so they are very hard to see but what I did was add one missing face on the side panel to my uv's

At this point in time I think the uv's are well each area is clear and seperated from the rest so I can really develop my designs on different areas of the model.

WEEK 8
Colour map:
Here is the test colour map I made to see how different colours would apply to the model. I also placed arrows on each side to see if the arrows would be facing outwards so I new my side panels on the uv would portray my work correctly.

WEEK 8

Here is what the model looks like with the texture applied. I like the colours because they are vibrant and contrast against each other nicely. I like vibrant colours so I enjoyed creating this tester texture

WEEK 9
New design:
Here is one of my most up to date textures. For the uv's I sew'd the back the front and the sides together so i had a seamless texture. I also created a split design  for the arcade machine. I decided to have stars on one side and diamond pattern replicated on the other.I thought these shapes would go nice together.I have never done a 50/50 design so it would be a completely new design to me and the way it's completely different on each side make it one of it's kind.
My favourite bit about the design would have to be the split in the middle I like how straight and sharp the line is. If keeps the 50/50 design actually balance and I am surprised it came out so nicely both designs are completely different but I think it contrasts well.
WEEK 9
Updating my texture:
After I decided the base design of the textures I decided to work into it a bit more to see how far I could  push this design to it's limits before it became un appealing.

WEEK 9
Here is what the arcade machine currently looks like I have not fully decided what colour I am going to make the markings under the controller area but majority of the design is done. Now I start creating other designs because I am creating multiple machines.

WEEK 9/10

Placing my model on sketchfab:

To present my work in a new light I decided to upload my model to this website called SketchFab.This website is a great place for uploading work because you can manipulate a 3D model without the software. Something else this site does is allow you to add/remove textures, show the wireframe of the model and vertex normals.

Even though the model looks very smooth withe the ambient occlusion I add basic metal texture over the whole model. This is just one of the tools that the website has to offer uploaded work.

.To manipulate the mode you click the play button if all load well you should be able to rotate the camera with the left click and drag of the mouse. To zoom in and out you can scroll up on the mouse to zoom in and scroll down to zoom out. Last but not least there is the grab tool to move the model itself you can use the right click button on the mouse and drag it or click in on the mouse wheel and drag.

To acess all of the tools that can make changes to the model you need to click the little stack of paper at the bottom right of the scene. If you hover over it, it should say model inspector or for a shortcut you can press the (I) key.

My favourite texture that you can apply with the software is the Matcap located at the bottom of the model inspector toolbar. This make covers the model with a metal like texture and gives the model a completely new look. My favourite bit about this tool in general would have to be how smooth the model looks, it presents my work clearer than most screenshot could.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 11
Creating my second arcade machine design:

For the second design I started working into my second design. After creating my favourite themes earlier in the projected I decided I wanted to to make this arcade machine Japanese themed. So i got a reference image of a noodle bowl, after looking at the reference image for a while I decided this was not the image for me and got a new one from the internet.

For the pattern on the bowl I created my own brush. I drew my own porcelain styled pattern. Selected the pattern and went edit on Photoshop and selected define brush. Once that was selected photoshop

This was the reference image that helped inspired my bowl design I searched up japanese porcelain noodle bowl. I wanted an image of a bowl that had a nice theme to it and this was the one.

WEEK 11

WEEK 11

WEEK 11

WEEK 11

WEEK 11

WEEK 11
WEEK 11
Final design:
When designing this arcade I put quite a bit of different things into the design overall. The theme I was aiming for was a modern Japanese style and I tried to experiment with more colour pallets to try and branch away from the generic red a blue interface.  My favourite thing besides the sun design behind my mini art is the button and joystick re colours. I think the white buttons was a good touch to contrast against the red.

If I could improve it I think I would have added some more art to the sides. I am not sure what I would place there, but I feel there is more room for art and this design could be amazing if I worked into it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 11
Lining both machines up:
In the gif above I have lined up my two arcade designs . The arcade on the left being my first ever arcade texture and my second one with more art and a nice looking pallet scheme. The light I am using on this is the spotlight so only a small area off the arcade machine will be hit by the light.

What I like about these two being lined up together is how I can see the piece finally coming together I just need some more designs and a backdrop. Seeing it all start to tie together get me excited for the final render.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 12
Creating my 3rd texture:
To create this texture I filled the selected area with a the gradient tool. I then went to the filter tab at the top of Photoshop and went into the filter gallery section. From there I browsed through version filters that could manipulate the block of colour. After browsing through all the filters I went into texture tab and applied the stained glass filter.

Because I liked the look of this filter I decided that I could change the colour and use the design for my arcade machine and that is what I did.

WEEK 12
Here is my third arcade machine the colour pallet is similar to the first one but the gradients are applied in a different directions. To also differentiate the two I applied the new texture I created to the side art of the arcade machine.

If I could improve this design I would like to add more detail and potentially change the colour of the front face of the arcade machine.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 12
Creating my 4th texture:
For my last and final design I decided to used the gradient tool for the base colour and a filter to change the design. The filter I used on the side art was the crystallisation filter.  I found this in the filter section under the pixelate tool. Once I found it I enjoyed the outcome instantly, I really like how the filter breaks up the colours into different tones.

If I could improve the design I would like have created more art on the screen, due to my not so great time management the next thing on the list was to create a backdrop to create my scene.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WEEK 13
Creating my final render:

In the screenshot above lined up all of my arcade machines, imported light leaving the names of the machines and the screens to give the illusions of the arcade machines emitting light. To create the backdrop I deleted three faces of a cube and manipulated the edges with the edge bevel tool

Area lights
hollowing out the box and manipulating the edges with the bevel tool to get a nice curve between the wall and the floor.

My favourite thing about this set up would have to be seeing all of the arcade machines coming to life together and finally hitting the goal that I set for myself.
WEEK 13
My back drop texture:
For the backdrop textures I created I checkered red, yellow, blue and green pattern and just duplicated it to create the wall tiles. For the floor I used the wall design and edited the hue and saturation to get different colours with the same design.

For the final edit to the backdrop I decided to remove the bevelled edges because it did not look appealing to the eye. I also straightened up the vertexes so all of the edges are perfectly straight.

WEEK 13
Final render settings:
For my render setting I have set my scene to render at hd 1080,resolution 300 and the size as A3 so if I need to re scale it for any reason it will not look like it has been resized.
WEEK 13

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Planning:
Overall my planning was not great this project because I tend to work by what I like to do at that point in time. I try to go in a organised order but I find it really hard to be organised. If I could do this project again I would definitely create a guide that is adjusted to my needs.

Organisation is really important because without it you can get lost in your own work and spend too long on the little things and not enough of the bigger and more important things.

Throughout this project I started off the first 3 weeks on schedule. After that all of my weeks were all jumbled I found myself spending too much time on thing I really didn't need to. However there is some problems like the little uv problems and just being stuck on coming up with concept designs for the arcade machine.

If I could do this project all over again I would definitely go by a check list because it makes sure your putting out the work on time.

WEEK 13

Evaluation:

This project was one of my favourite projects since I have joined this course. I loved the freedom that I was give the freedom to create my own brief, follow my own challenges and stretch challenges. This all pushed me to new heights that I would never imagine myself achieving.

When starting this project I did not know what my final concept would be but I knew I wanted to do an arcade at some point because of last trip to the arcade in Birmingham city centre. I had so much fun with my friends and I have so many fond memories of playing arcade machines I wanted to create my own.

My art style is very hard to pin point on what I was really influenced by. I pick features from different places, I mainly pick of things from hobbies and cultures that I am interested in. For example for my second arcade machine I based that design of off a Japanese theme. The reason for that is because I watch Japanese animations as a hobby and the culture looks interesting.

When researching one of the main tools that helped me was the koenigs.dk website was very helpful. There was one reference image that I found on that website and used that to help model my arcade machines.
I’m sure I would have found other sources online, but seeing that picture break down the design of an arcade machine helped me throughout my modelling process. If I never found an image with the same amount of break down like that image I can positively say that my project would have been different.
For my primary research I did obtain my own photos of and I’ve used them as motivation and inspiration throughout this project. I wanted to make my machines look great and I feel like I have achieved that by doing the best I possibly can.
For my secondary research I did not look into much but the reference image I used throughout the whole modelling process did really help me. I do not see arcades all the time so remembering the generic features and angles is something I do not remember well. But the image I obtained from the koenigs.dk website helped me get a better insight on the machine in general.

For my materials my arcade machine is made out of:
MDF wood
Plastic
Glass
Aluminium

Throughout this project the Photoshop tools I used were:
Brush tool
Pencil tool
Polygonal lasso tool
Magic wand tool
Filters
Hue and saturation tool
Paint bucket tool
Gradient tool

All of these tools helped me create all of the digital pieces you see without them. If I never used them I cannot image what my work would look like because they my core tools.

Throughout this project the Maya tools I used were:
Extruding
Bevelling
Scaling
Sewing
Uving

Without these tools in Maya I would not have a final piece because all of these tool are needed to create most things in Maya. If I never used these tools my model would not even exist.

The software I used this project was:
Photoshop-The reason why I used Photoshop was because I am very familiar with the interface. I have been using it for over 4 years throughout my education and every tool I need is on there.
Maya- I used Maya to model because it is the only 3D software I am familiar with. I have no experience with any other software and everything I need is on here.
Microsoft Word- I used Microsoft Word because it helps me breakdown lists, or fill out documents. I have used this from as far as I can remember. So I am very familiar with the tools.
Microsoft PowerPoint- I only use power point when I want certain pieces of work to stand out from the rest. All of my other pieces are big enough on their own so I highlight sections I think are very important with PowerPoint slides.

At first my plan was to create a 2D piece and a 3D piece but this year I decided to really push myself and see how good my Maya skills were. Last year I was not really confident with my Maya skills. But this year I thought I should push myself and I am proud to call this my work.
This year I feel like I have hit my goals that I have set in the project proposal. My overall project goal was to create a 3D arcade environment and that is what I have done. This is my first 3D environment that I have spent a lot of time on that turned out good looking.
I like how all how all of the arcade machines line up nicely together and they neither of them look out of place.

One thing I don’t like about it would have to the fact that I wanted more art on my machines. For example my screens have very little design and some of my side panel could have a lot more detail.
Next time I do a big project I am definitely going to spend more time on creating concept designs and textures. I really like texturing but because of my not so great time management some of my textures suffered.
To be able to do all this next time I need to plan more my planning skills are getting better as the years gone on but they definitely need some work.

Overall I feel like my blog has enough research on it for what I am making. I feel like I did not need much research because I was not making a lot. This project was a lot of fun and I definitely want to make more projects like this in the future. For my next project I might just focus on making more because I want to increase the amount of work I make.
